POLAR TEAM
The maximum line-of-sight coverage of Bluetooth® Smart transmission is around 60 meters (66 yards). In outdoor sports the fields are bigger so transmission from the heart rate sensors to the iPad can be lost and training data cannot be saved with full reliability. Therefore the Polar Team application is recommended only for indoor sports.
Compatibility and Requirements
The Polar Team 1.0 application works with Apple’s iOS6 platform. It is compatible with:
- iPad mini
- iPad (3rd & 4th generation)
The Polar Team application uses Bluetooth® Smart technology and is compatible with Polar H7 and H6 heart rate sensors.
How many players can there be in my team?
You can create one team on one iPad. The number of players in the team is not limited, but a maximum of 40 players can be monitored at the same time during a training session.
How many training sessions can be saved in the iPad?
A training session takes up only a minimal amount of iPad memory. 1000 training sessions with 20 players require approximately 1 GB of memory.
