Garmin Bike Speed Sensor 2 and Cadence Sensor 2 Bundle
Monitor your speed and cadence as you ride with these easy-to-install wireless sensors. With no magnets or other exposed parts to line up, these sensors are easy to install, maintain and move between bikes.
The Speed Sensor 2 attaches to the hub of either wheel and self-calibrates with your Edge® cycling computer or compatible Garmin device to give you accurate speed and distance at all times — even without a head unit.
The Cadence Sensor 2 fastens to any size crank arm and measures pedal strokes per minute so you can get the most out of your training.

Replacing the Speed Sensor Battery
The sensor uses a CR2032 battery. The LED flashes red to indicate a low battery level after two rotations.
- Locate the circular battery cover on the front of the sensor.
- Rotate the cover counterclockwise until it is loose enough to remove.
- Remove the cover and the battery.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Insert the new battery into the cover, observing the correct polarity. NOTE: Do not damage or lose the O-ring gasket.
- Rotate the cover clockwise until the marker on the cover aligns with the marker on the housing. NOTE: After replacing the battery, the LED flashes red and green for a few seconds. When the LED flashes green and then stops flashing, the device is active and ready to send data.
