How to Replace the Mounting Tabs on Edge 540 | 840 | 1050 Series
The mounting tabs on the back of the following Edge Cycling computers are user-replaceable:
- Edge® 540
- Edge® 540 Solar
- Edge® 840
- Edge® 840 Solar
- Edge® 1050
Steps to Replace:
- Using the Size 0 Philips screwdriver, remove the mounting tab by removing the two screws holding it in place.
- Place the new mounting tab on and secure using the new screws. New screws will have a thread-locking adhesive applied to the threads.
- To ensure the screws tightened enough, there should be no movement between the tabs and Edge.
